Nerdy Bus Stuff
Okay I like buses. I'm not the person you see standing in the rain outside bus stations noting down what new buses each company has got. I'm not one of the people who go round every bus show (although I admit I have been to a few). I just love buses. I don't see anything wrong with this. I could have unhealthy interests such as explosives, hard drugs or Jedward. Why do I like buses? I really couldn't tell you. Why do some people enjoy sticking electrodes on their bits while being slapped in the face with the EU flag (or is that just my uncle?) Everyone is thankfully different. To be honest I get excited by all forms of mass transit and heavy machinery. My favourite sexual fantasy involves a steam roller, a double decker bus, a maglev train and the Isle Of Wight floating bridge.
Below is my slowly growing collection of bus models. They are mostly Isle Of Wight Southern Vectis ones but have a few other ones which I like or have some kind of connection with. I also have my Isle Of Wight Hovertravel hovercraft model, my Island Line train models and two Back to Future cars. I made those shelves myself!!
