Isle of Wight Nostalgia- Very simple website with loads of different photos, articles, history and loads of other bits all about the Isle Of Wight. Great to explore if you want to know more about the Island or if you live there and want to learn something new. Don't think its updated much now but still worth a visit.
Isle Of Wight County Press- The Isle of Wight's only newspaper and news website worth worrying about. Better than other Ventnor based blogs which just recycle press releases. If you get married on the Isle Of Wight they even print a photo from your wedding if you ask them!
Island Pages- Like Yellow Pages but for the Isle Of Wight. Link to loads and loads of websites Island based. All the info you should ever need on the Island. Links to websites and information on a wide range of information. Good one to keep in the bookmarks in case you ever need infomation in a hurry.
Isle Of Wight Eye- I think this website is actually to do with events and accommodation. Anyway I love the history section of this website. Especially the maps and photos. There are also surprises like Ryde Airport which is now where McDonalds and Tesco are now.
Isle Of Wight Unite- You will notice this links you to You Tube which obviously not an Island based website. However its the song on You Tube. Released in December 2011 the song is a cover of "We are The World" written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. Features Isle Of Wight singers and all the profits went to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice. It is a really lovely song.
